Cameron Dallas soaks up all the sun at the beach in this exclusive new pic from the latest edition of the Just Jared Spotlight Series.
The 20-year-old social media sensation was photographed at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica, Calif. and posed alongside Max, an adorable rescue dog that was up for adoption at Spot! Los Angeles. He loved the dog so much, he actually adopted the pet pooch days after the shoot and named him Jaxx. Match made in dog heaven!
Cameron has amassed a huge social media following over the last couple years with 3.94 million followers on Twitter, 5.5 million on Instagram, and a whopping 6.3 million on Vine. He is now starring in his first ever movie, Expelled, which will hit select theaters around the country TONIGHT (December 11) and worldwide digitally on December 16.
The film is about a legendary prankster named Felix (Dallas) who always charms his way out of trouble. However, after his third strike at school, the principal has had enough and expels him. Never defeated, Felix resorts to his infamous ways and devises a plan with his brother (Marcus Johns), best friend (Matt Shively), new friend (Lia Marie Johnson) and classmate (Andrea Russett) to hide it from his parents.
In our exclusive interview with Cameron, he opens up about his plans for his 21st birthday, the qualities he looks for in a girlfriend, and his crazy fans who followed him from Ohio to California!

Cameron Dallas Interview – JustJared.com Exclusive
Just Jared: How excited are you for your movie Expelled? Tell us about your character.
Cameron Dallas: I am super excited! Yeah, it’s cool to see all my hard work come together. Well, everyone’s hard work coming together. My character Felix is a very charming prankster, and he likes to do what he wants. But sometimes what he wants to do isn’t what everyone else wants to do. And he’s very “go get ‘em”, like if he wants something, he gets it.
JJ: Do you have a favorite prop from set?
CD: The tandem bike that me and Marcus Johns used. While we were waiting for the crew to set up for another scene, we took the tandem bike out and rode it through Ralph’s [supermarket]! It was fun.
JJ: Is a music career in your future?
CD: Psh. I definitely can’t sing, so I don’t know about that one. (laughs) But you never know, you never know.
JJ: What are you going to do for your 21st birthday?
CD: Probably just be with my friends and my family. I’m not a big partier, so I don’t think I’ll be like, “Oh I’m 21, so let’s go out, go to a club, get drunk.”
JJ: What has been your craziest fan moment?
CD: A group of girls from Ohio used to email me, asking me to meet up with them – way back when I still worked at Forever 21. Three months later, they ended up coming into my work. “Hey Cameron, do you remember us? We emailed you…” And I’m like, “WHAT?”
But I ended up hanging out with them and having dinner ’cause I didn’t have anything better to do. But they tried getting me to kiss their friend when I was saying good-bye. Literally awkward. I was hugging her and they were like, “Kiss her, kiss her.” And I was just like, “Uhh no.”
But it gets worse. After that, I stopped talking to them. I did a MAGCON in Chicago, and they were there, banging on my hotel door. I opened it and she runs in: “I need to talk to you alone.” My friends Nash [Grier] and Taylor [Caniff] were laughing. Finally we kicked her out. That’s probably the craziest thing!
JJ: Have any fans mailed you anything ridiculous?
CD: One of them mailed me their underwear and it’s actually on my video. My friend and I were opening it together, filming a video, and I smacked him with it. I forgot about it and later on in the video, he shoves it in my mouth. So that was probably the worst thing!
JJ: What’s the last song you downloaded?
CD: Jack & Jack’s new song, “Right Where You Are (#RWYA)”.
JJ: What’s the last TV show you watched?
CD: I don’t even watch TV. I’m not even sure!
JJ: What’s the last movie you saw?
CD: I just saw Lawless with Shia LaBeouf. It was a good movie!
JJ: When did you move to LA?
CD: I moved to LA… Well, I’ve always lived in California, but I moved to LA about six months ago. I love it!
JJ: Do you have any piercings?
CD: Nope.
JJ: Tattoos?
CD: Nope.
JJ: Would you get either?
CD: Nope. (laughs) I don’t know. Who knows? I don’t know. Probably not.
JJ: What’s your favorite movie of all time?
CD: It’d be Gladiator with Russell Crowe.
JJ: Are you single?
CD: Yes.
JJ: What are five qualities your future girlfriend must have?
CD: Appreciative, genuine, trustworthy, loyal, and funny.
JJ: Could you describe your ideal date?
CD: Ideal dates are very simple–I’ll do anything. As long as we’re having fun, that’s all that matters. People stress out, and think the first date has to be perfect. But it really can be anything!
JJ: Being that you’re an actor now, who would you want to be your leading lady?
CD: Angelina Jolie.
